Training

Getting a new puppy can be quite overwhelming with a lot of things to think about. These sessions will help with any questions and worries you may have. The sessions are conducted in your house where I will discuss and advise how best to settle in your new puppy. We will cover house training, appropriate food, how to encourage some independence and introducing your puppy to being left alone for short periods. We will also discuss effective crate training and lead walking and how to start introducing other basic training. We will also discuss the pros and cons of neutering and whether that is right for you and your dog. 

Socialisation

We offer puppy socialisation sessions, where will collect your puppy in the morning and drop them home late afternoon. During the day they will be able to play with other puppies in our large fenced off field and will be continually monitored ensuring they are never left on their own and that play is always with appropriate puppies. These kinds of sessions help with the puppy’s development and confidence and are also an opportunity to start introducing some independence from their owners. We understand owners may feel anxious leaving their new puppy for the day which is why we send regular updates, including videos and photos.
